Rigorously tested for robustness and reliability surpassing industry standards.

Quality and reliability testing is a top priority at Ouster. Over the past year, our group of veterans from the solar industry have tested our OSDome lidar sensors in a broad array of conditions as part of a structured quality and reliability engineering design and validation process.
Floor-to-ceiling vision with high-resolution coverage.

180° vertical FoV for forklift side-mounting.

With a unique 180° FoV, the side mounted short-range OSDome opens up the possibility to see shelves from top to bottom, even in narrow aisle configurations.
128 channels of vertical resolution across the entire field of view, creating in-depth point cloud visualizations.

With high precision and dual returns, the OSDome delivers crisp data across the entire field of view to enable optimal perception algorithm performance.

Frequently
Asked Questions
Help CenterWe offer our lidar sensors in three different resolution configurations: 32, 64, and 128 vertical channels (beams) of resolution. Higher resolution enables better perception and detection performance at longer ranges. In addition to resolution options, we offer beam configuration options on our 32 and 64 channel sensors; gradient (denser in the middle of the field of view, sparser on the top), below horizon (all channels on the bottom half of the field of view), and above horizon (all channels on the top half of the field of view). Finally, we offer different lidar sensor extended warranties, cap options, and varying cable types, connectors, and lengths.
Yes. Our lidar sensors are IP69K rated, meaning they can withstand power washing up to 1600 psi, and can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water without affecting operation. The sensors maintain visibility in rain, snow, and fog. Lidar also works consistently through all lighting conditions, including night, sunrise, sunset and full midday sun.
Our lidar sensors are priced depending on the type of sensor, the resolution, and the configuration options. Please contact us and we’d be happy to share a quote to fit your needs.
